Had a little bit of a late start, parking lot by 7:30AM was overflowing down the road. Because of this, I was expecting the trail to be much more packed than it was but it was pleasantly uncrowded. Morning weather was lovely but by noon we found ourselves on the last of the switchbacks and the intensity of the sun and lack of cover was a bit of a challenge. Beautiful view up top, a little smoggy toward LA but still worth it!
