Started early to minimize the heat exposure from this heat wave! Got started about 5:15. We felt the early elevation gain but maintained a good pace and hit the summit around 9:30. We felt good at the top especially in comparison to San Gorogonio two weeks ago. However, the heat took its toll on the descent and we were ready for the nice cool IPAs waiting for us at our vehicle!
