With the 6th and final peak looming, we decided to finish in style. How else but with caviar and champagne? We set off for the summit at 5:45am headlamps aglow. And we were sipping on champagne and nibbling on caviar n crackers well before lunch. But it wasn’t an easy journey. The first 1.5 miles was a reminder of what we had set out to do… it wasn’t going to be easy (setting the tone for the day). It was a tiring, grueling 19 miles over 10 hours… but what a sense of accomplishment when we finally hit the parking lot around 4pm. It has been a great journey and I am truly proud of both Rob Sites and myself for setting out and finishing the challenge!
