This hike has some fairly rocky bits, with walking on shale which I am not fond of. It is not as strenuous as Mt. Baldy, so that is a plus! I really liked the beginning of the hike where you pass some cabins along the creek. The hike to the saddle junction is pretty temperate, I didn’t get hot until I had to ascend Cucamonga peak. Overall, pretty good hike!
