Hike #2 to summit Mt Baldy this year. The 1st was back in January on snow & ice.
A great conditioning hike on the Mt Baldy Trail also known as Bear Canyon Trail, climbing from 4,320’ to 10,064’.
This is definitely my preferred route to summit Mt Baldy due to the great views & scenery and also much less congested than the two popular trails [Baldy Bowl & Devil’s Backbone].
If you have not done this trail, it is worth the trek.
