So I had a score to settle with the mighty Gorgonio. Back in 2015, I had tried to reach the summit without success. We had a few things going against us: dark clouds, the lateness of the afternoon and a somewhat slower group. This time around, I was gung-ho and determined beyond belief about summiting. I was going to do it by hook or by crook. Blessed by the company of a more experienced (faster) group of ladies, we did it and got back to the parking lot way before dark. I have a newfound affection for Gorgonio. You’re mine, all mine, Gorgonio. Till next year.
