Congratulations Katherine!!!
What sections of the trail had the most snow coverage? Did you use either crampons or microspikes?
I plan to summit this Thursday 5/25 and want to be prepared but not bring unnecessary equipment… I made the summit to San Bernardino Peak last Thursday 5/18 and had to put on my microspikes past Limber Pine Bench as the last 1,400′ slope was mostly covered with snow.

There were patches of snow on the last section and I used microspikes because I had them and might as well use them BUT a lot of the people I was with were fine without them. I would bring microspikes since you have them so you can use your own judgement. Also thanks for mentioning San Bernardino because I plan on heading there this weekend 🙂
