Peak San Gorgonio
Group Girls Who Hike LA
Trailhead Vivian Creek

We started at 6am from Vivian Creek. The weather was nice and cool. When we reached high creek (11am) we took a long break. Then started our hike up again (3pm) since we were camping at the peak. The last mile trek was tough and I had to take a break every few steps. I finally made it to the top (6pm), in time to catch the sunset. We made dinner, had the tiniest bit of wine, which was more than enough, and went to sleep. From 12am-5am the winds blew furiously at my tent and made it difficult to sleep. The temperatures are the top were chilly and required me to wear every piece of clothing I brought. The trek down was very relaxing and quick. We started down at about 7 or 8 am, and made it back to the cars at 12-1pm.
