The second mountain in 4 months, although we attempted Baldy in March (more about that later). Concerned with any ice or snow, some of us brought micro spikes but not needed at all! Gorgeous weather, started at 6:30 AM was at the peak around 11:30 AM and back to the car about 4:00 PM. I was surprised at how strenuous the first part was, I shouldn’t have been but maybe I trick myself in thinking I’m in better shape than I actually am?
I’m looking forward to logging more mountains in the next few weeks. Our grand plan at the beginning of 2017 was to have at least 5 mountains completed by now… oh well. But we will complete the six!
