This was before the first heat wave to hit SoCal, so the early start was a pretty cold morning where I wish I had thin gloves. But not more than an hour into the trail, things started to heat up. I knew Cucamonga would be a long hike, but the descent felt way longer the ascent… probably a normal feeling after bagging a peak 🙂
