Peak San Bernardino
Group Hiked with Southern California Hikers, there were six of us
Trailhead Angelus Oaks

the hike was test of endurance. A big portion of the trail was covered in snow, so going up we weren’t on trail. we just climbed the steep snow slop. the trail was very quiet (fewer hikers). the weather was beautiful. you need microspikes (what we had) or crampons. summit in low temperature is easier for the snow is more compacted. when the temperature is high snow is soft one will tend to slide which can be dangerous.
