This was my second time hiking up San Bernardino. The first time I went last year I was so out of shape that I remember it being such a long struggle. I lost a toenail and it was dark when I came down from the mountain. This time around, it was still a very tough hike but my endurance has improved and the elevation didn’t affect me as much. It wasn’t a super hot day, so I got to really enjoy this hike. My favorite part is the meadows, I could totally spend a lot of time here just enjoying the scenery. When we got to the top, there was thunder and lighting so we didn’t stay very long. This is one of my favorite hikes!
