Third time I have been on the summit but never went up Marion Trail. Gut check for sure. This area is more rock then the other peaks I have done. Weather was great with cloud cover and some thunder but no rain or lighting. Note to self – do not use that slippy log when crossing the creek – you may fall and get wet. We made it in to an upside down horseshoe going down to Wellman’s Divide and exited Devil’s Slide Trail. 13.5 Miles in just over 8 hours. I great hike with friends for Greg.
