The weather was cold but beautiful. The trail conditions were good but a little muddy in certain areas due to the rain earlier in the week. The hike was challenging but the scenery was absolutely beautiful with the rushing creeks and waterfalls. It was exciting to hike the 1st peak of the challenge and it was great to share the trails with many nice groups of hikers who along with park ranger, Maggie were very kind and helpful along the way!
