Can’t believe we did it! So amazing to be up so high above all the so cal points we know and love. We could even see the ocean. Couldn’t get over how many fellow challenge hikers we saw! There was about 10 of us up there yesterday.
We saw all kinds of deer. On the way down our last 3 miles were in the dark. We saw more deer and a pair of eyes and what seemed to be a tail like a mountain lion.. as we leaned in to take a better look with our headlamps .. it jumped down and ran away..
