Got a great start beginning the hike at 5:15 AM. This helped keep the heat from being a factor until the end of the day on the descent. I felt the effects of the elevation gain but the support and motivation from our hiking group is the remedy to keep going. Thanks David, Yaneth, and Eddie! At the peak the view was amazing. We sheltered in one of the rock wind breaks to eat lunch. The return trip seemed longer but that was just the fatigue. For me this was definitely a milestone to complete. Halfway there to the 6-Pack!
