My hiking buddy was able to start this trail with me, but unfortunately was not feeling well several miles in, and decided to wait it out. The weather was warm but pretty cloudy. At times i was worried a storm may come through. There had been rain in the area over the past week, in which made the trail very lush, wet, and full of wild flowers. I really enjoyed the scenery so much on this trail that the climb never really got to me. It’s a pretty gradual climb though as well. Once I reached the summit, I was bummed that my phone died, but there was a sweet couple who offered to send me a summit pic. We all know the feeling of needing that photo with the sign! Pic, or it didn’t happen! ; )
