Hello, I,m Aiden Wiedenman and I,m 9 years old and I just did San Bernadino peak last week and I want to tell you a little bit about it. So I started on the main trail and we were headed to Columbine springs to camp. As soon as we got to the intersection where it turned to go down a half a mile to the campsite, we dropped some of our gear off and headed to the peak. When we got to the peak, my friend (Richard) and I drank (NON-ALCOHOLIC) ginger beer. When my friends left one lady wanted to get a picture with me and that was cool, also I wanted to catch clouds. On the way down it got cold really fast, so we stopped and layered up fast and got going again. Once we got to camp it started to rain on us, so we had to set up camp in the rain and the rain turned into pea size hail which made it more difficult. We got up the next morning and we got going pretty quickly once we were on the trail lots of people were asking questions about our dog Mysti. Once we were done with the hike we were pooped, and we packed up fast and we got in the car and went home.
