Trail conditions were hot but most of this hike is covered with tree shade. Only exposed parts were near summit, Cosmic Cafe provided the holy grail of jet fuels to finish this long day with mom: PB&J and coca-cola! Side note: I’m pretty sure mom took us the long way and “forgot” what turn to take heading back down to log more miles….. 😉
