Wow, Issac! That’s cool! I’ve only seen a bobcat on the trail once before (down in San Clemente of all places). Where on the trail did you see this?
That’s amazing I’ve only seen one bobcat I my life and it was in Colorado.
Afternoon,
This bobcat was seen a 1/2 mile past Spruce Grove Campground heading towards Sturtevant Falls, perched on a limb only several feet off the trail. It sent true shiver down my spine approaching those green eyes in the dark.
I’ve seen a couple up in Oregon and now here since moving to California, but getting up this close was a first. It was a very calm, incredible experience, and the picture doesn’t do justice. Always made sure to give this powerful animal the distance and respect it deserves!

Awesome! The problem with wild cats is that they don’t let you know they’re around until you walk right into them.
