Peak San Jacinto
Group Remedy Hike
Trailhead Marion Mountain

I will have to say I thought this hike was going to be worse than it was. The trail was well marked and we met many friendly hikers along the way and even some crazy trail runners. Yes, it was challenging from the moment we started hiking but there didn’t seem to be any part that was a ridiculously steep like Mount Baldy. We started around 7:00 AM and the morning was in the low 50’s but once we started hiking the chill quickly went away. Once we did get farther up the mountain and the wind started blowing wind breakers were a must and I even wished I would have brought a light pair of gloves. Overall the day was great and the peak was also a surprise since it was not like any of the other three we have already done and it felt good to hoist that sign above my head when we got to the top. After hiking Cucamonga and Baldy my legs were sore for a couple days afterwords but this time around I was fine which was unexpected since we did the hike in 8 hours which is an hour quicker than the web site had listed.
