Beautiful + butt kicker + epic day on the mountain

We scored another beautiful day. Bright blue skies, uncrowded trail, perfect weather (a little hot on the way down but we got an early start). The trail was well maintained and free of now. Little streams here and there which added to the overall beauty – the trail is really stunning. It is very very steep. It kicked our butts. But we made it. Took us 5.5 hours up and 3.5 hours down. Not too shabby for The Hiking Vikings. The view at the top was well worth the effort as usual.
