It was great until my partner and I descended on what we thought was the Baldy Bowl trail only to find ourselves descending the Bear Canyon Trail and ending up 7.5 miles away in the town of Mt. Baldy. Fortunately for us The Mt. Baldy Lodge was rocking that night and we were able to find a kind local to drive us back to our car!
That said, Bear Canyon Trail was a beautiful (if incredibly steep!) trail.
