Wow. I’ve been a Southern California/Inland Empire resident my entire life. I’ve always had Baldy on my list but never got around to it. Thanks for putting the Challenge in front of me! Made it to the top on 7/1 with my wife and son. We all worked for it, no doubt. It is quite the challenge. Lots of people and the weather was warmer than I’d like. But, I feel good about hike and our time on the mountain. It’s an adventure I’ll not soon forget. Trail was in pretty good condition. By the way, since it’s hotter now, I recommend topping off your water supply at the notch. Don’t want to run out of water by the summit. You still have to get down the mountain! On to San Bernardino!
