Great photos as always, Greg! What kind of gear did you need? Did you take the Ski Hut trail all the way or go up (or down) the Bowl?
Ski Hut Trail both ways…or in that general direction anyway. Micros from Manker Flats to the base of Baldy Bowl. Crampons and Axe from the bowl, up through the trees, up the ridge and upper the checkerboard to summit. Trail was normal until after crossing the bowl. Then trail was pretty much straight up through the trees, straight up the ridge and straight up the face. This was the day of the helicopter crash landing in the saddle between Baldy and West Baldy.
