I ended my Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge in early October with the family. The challenge of this Challenge is finding the time to dedicate an entire day to each of these mountains–it is not so much the feat of conquering these peaks. At any rate, the first part of the hike to the lodge was less to be desired but it was very nice beyond the primitive ski “resort.” I would have done the reverse loop if I had better known the terrain. I didn’t do much research on this hike. And like Cucamonga Peak, there were a number of people on the trails. All in all, we are fortunate to have such beauty just beyond our concrete jungle. I suppose the upside to the crowds is that people are opting to go outside. Peace out you all! Cheers!
