Baldy was a step up from any of the hikes I’d done previously. We went on a particularly overcast day which was good and bad. Good that we had cool weather, and bad that we didn’t get too much of a view. We came down the ski hut trail which was rough in my opinion. I’m not a fan of trails full of scree, it just eats away at my feet and forces me to travel slowly.
