Peak San Gorgonio
Group N/A
Trailhead Angelus Oaks

Our hike was the hardest and most epic thing I’ve ever done!! We summited San Bernardino Peak on Saturday the 23rd around 2 pm. The weather was cold and foggy so we didn’t get much of a view. We put our packs on and headed toward High Meadow Spring Camp. We hiked into the night and just pulled off trail and found a spot to camp. It was freezing and we were too tired to eat. We woke up in the morning (if I slept at all lol) and headed up toward Gorgonio. We summited about 1:30. We took quick pics because we knew it would be a hard climb down and we wanted to get down before dark. Which we did, barley. The terrain was rocky and hard on the knees. I almost came to tears many times on this hike, but the view was worth the climb.
