San Gorgonio was done as my fist overnight backpacking trip and it didn’t disappoint. We camped at High Creek where there was still plenty of water flowing, although we saw no water further up so be sure to fill up as needed. The second day threatened rain and thunderstorms but thankfully they never materialized. Instead a light sprinkle just added to the beauty of our hike. We met some really interesting people — preparing for hiking the Alps, Whitney, and preparing for the Sierras, best of luck to all.
