Such an awesome day!!! Perfect weather! Just moved back from the east coast and I was ready to hit the trail! A little sad I didn’t have my regular hiking partner to share the journey but I pushed myself with his voice in my head. I’ve had so many different memories on this trail it was hard not to think of all of them on the hike. What a great mountain. I wish I could give it a big hug.
Not sure which trail I’ll get to next…
Welcome back, Melinda! Solo hiking can be really special. The solitude and time “offline” gives you time to recharge and think. And how lucky to have Mt Baldy all to yourself! That’s a rare treat!
