We started out Foresee Creek trail and were supposed to join a shorter trail that was supposed to be 13 miles but the junction was closed and this day ended up being 20 plus miles. As a mother to a 27 year old son with autism who is non-verbal and dependent on me as his caregiver and life support I have been forced to become a warrior in battle in my day to day and nothing really compares to that as far as challenges go! I’ve learned to create my own happiness, bring my own sunshine and appreciate and live each day like it’s my last! To Smile Big and Often, to challenge and push myself outside my comfort zone to find a new courage and make memories that will last a lifetime. I’ve got no time for drama! Life is too short not to climb mountains and take in and breath in their beauty and majesty!
