Lovely day. Wanted a nice easy hike so opted to take the lift to the Top of the Notch and climb from there. Weather was great. A bit windy on the final push to the top but it was calm at the top. Lots of people on the trail but not overly busy. Came down the same way but took the road instead of going down the ski run as it is easier on the knees. Loved using my hiking poles and after reading Jeff’s description on how to use them noted that just about everyone uses them incorrectly. Can’t believe it but I guess after being a x-country skier it is more obvious to me.
