My earliest wake up so far. I got up at 3:45 AM and met Victor to carpool at 4:30. We got to the parking lot at 6:15 and started the hike with a group of 11 hikers. We made it up to the peak at 11 AM. I had a little headache. My first bout of altitude sickness about a mile from the peak. It also had started light rain with thunder and lightning. When we peaked there was thunder and lightning so we only stayed at the top for about 30 minutes. We had a down and got back to the car at 3 pm. 16 miles, my longest hike. And it was all so beautiful! 2 more to go 🙂
