Today was a beautiful day for a hike! We started around 7am which was nice because it warmed up later. My last hike I was really sick (Jacinto) so this time my dad and I pretty much booked it up the first part of the mountain because I am better and we had a nice pace. Once we got to the saddle we took a little break which is when we started saying my favorite hiking phrase “we are almost halfway there”. The last part of the hike was warmer and steep but manageable. This is my 3rd peak so I’m literally HALFWAY THERE! The views were amazing and I have to mention the plethora of lady bugs I saw on the way down, AMAZING!! All together I feel like this was a great warm up hike for Baldy next weekend!
