We tried this one in March with the trail iced over.. got just a little ways past the saddle and the snow was too thick for my microspikes.. as I was turning around I lost my footing and slide about 25′ away from my hubby. Thankfully I was able to walk back to the car. We returned May 4th… there was still some snow in a few sections but I’m proud of myself for getting back out there and getting to the top.
