Peak San Jacinto
Group Hike Beyond The Hills
Trailhead Palm Springs Tram

“Arriving at one goal is the starting point to another.” I completed my 3rd annual 6-Pack-of-Peaks Challenge, climbing up Mt. San Jacinto Peak with some amazing members/friends from my hiking group, Hike Beyond The Hills. We took the route via Palm Springs Tram, which afforded us spectacular views of Coachella Valley. This route is considered to be “easy” and pleasant way to hike up a challenging mountain, but we still hiked a total of 11 miles with 3000′ vertical climb. This hike was also our last training hike and taper off hike for my upcoming Mt. Whitney expedition in one week, which brings me to my next goal–hike/backpack 42 miles of the Sierras with over 8,300′ elevation gain to climb up Mt. Whitney (14,505′), the tallest peak in the contiguous US! 💪⛰ #hikebeyondthehills #bucketlist #onceinalifetime
