Did that sign say it’s only a mile and a quarter to the peak? Funny, when my legs were burning and I just wanted to get there, I kept thinking that sign was a big fat lie…And I agree, the peak isn’t the prettiest place but we felt great getting there! We missed the Mt. Wilson marker (grrrr) that I’ve seen others post pictures of. Is that up by the cafe? The weather was perfect and the trail up is so pretty now with the sounds of moving water. Going on a weekday, we avoided the parking issues. We got going at 8:45 and were done by 4:00. It was a great day!
