I figure I better log this peak tonight since we are conquering our next one in about 10 hours!
Boss and I bagged Baldy up the Devil’s Backbone and made the loop. After reaching the ski hut, I was excited to meet the backbone, but had to endure the crazy climb up those slopes first! Mercy ME! I wanted to stop, but Boss and I keep each other going! We saw a little snow on the side of the trail before making the last leg up before the summit… way cool! Bagging Baldy was quite the accomplishment and we were so proud of ourselves. Put our red sparkled check marked shirts on and made our way down. Halfway done and loving this CHALLENGE! See you in the morning, San Bernardino Peak!
