It was a very hot day but I was prepared with 5 liters of water. This is my favorite of the six pack with all the beautiful views and a lot of nice shade on the way to Wellman Divide. After San Bernardino Peak, this hike felt great. I was hoping for a nice breeze at the summit but there wasn’t a breeze so we didn’t stay long. We spent more time at Wellman Divide on the way down and it was so much more relaxing than the summit because the summit wasn’t breezy on this very warm day.
