I don’t think we could have picked a better day, there were hardly any other people along the trail and we had the trail to ourselves. There was so much water in the stream and falls on the way up, it was absolutely stunning! It was chilly, but felt good! A wonderful start to our challenge! (except my car breaking down and having to call AAA from the ranger station, but that’s another story…)
