It was great meeting many of you at the six-pack of peaks party in Oct. The conversations I had inspired me to continue to hike through the winter. I am interested in winter camping and snowshoeing also.

What suggestions do you have in SoCal?

I am going to Baden-Powell in Dec and read that it already got 2-3″ of snow.

Also, I read San Jacinto via tram is a good way to get started with snowshoeing. Do they allow camping in the winter? Can I bring something like a DIY Pulk up San J. so I can bring my son? Winter gear is a little too heavy for him.

Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for any suggestions!!!

    Alex
