I get an error that username/password do not match. Trying to use my existing account ‘dvalino’ or ‘dvalino@hotmail.com’ but unable with my existing password.
I am able to login to my profile with no issues. Are others experiencing this same issue?

Not sure if you received my first reply? I’m experiencing the same problem. I went through the password reset, it gave me a whole new profile.?? Backed out of everything and logged in to my existing profile with no issues. ????

ParticipantThanks Will tried your recommendations but still get the below error. I have no issues when logging directly into my profile. Only when I try to register/login for the 2018 Challenge.
ERROR: The password you entered for the username dvalino@hotmail.com is incorrect. Lost your password?

Dave, the hike logs and registration for the 2018 challenge (and all future challenges) are on the new SocialHiker.net site. Your user account was migrated, but not the passwords. You will have to request a password reset.
Here’s where it gets tricky.
We have multiple reports from folks with Microsoft email accounts (Hotmail, Outlook mail, etc.) that they are NOT receiving any emails from SocialHiker — including their password reset email. We’re working to resolve this, but until then, just let me know and we can manually reset it.
And yes, you will get a “new” profile on the new site. In fact, you’ve already got one: https://socialhiker.net/members/dvalino/profile/
