hi. my daughter and i are planning to hike the HST this july, 2018. flying in from New Jersey.
so if we land at Burbank take rental car to Visalia, shuttles from there to trail. but how do we return from Lone Pine? any buses, car rentals, planes, trains etc??? any ideas? any heip would be great

Hello Keith, last year I had the pleasure of hiking the High Sierra trail; Although I ended up not using public transportation, I did my research in case I needed to use it.
You can check the Eastern Sierra Transit website for information and reservations for
the bus #395 that takes you from Lone Pine to Lancaster Metrolink station; From there you can take a metro straight to Burbank airport.
