I have a brother in Texas and another in Virginia (I am in Ventura County), and the three of us are planning on getting together next year sometime for a weeklong backpacking excursion.
All of us have some backpacking experience but for some of us it’s been a very long time and for others it may be our longest backpacking trip ever.
I’m looking for ideas for a trail we can tackle during our weeklong adventure. Any thoughts would be much appreciated! We’re leaning toward staying in California but anywhere in the US would do.
Rae Lakes, Deadman Canyon, and Trans Catalina are all on my list, along with several others.
