Pls don't take your dogs on trails in heat and humidity - SoCal Hiker

I was really surprised to hear that a poor dog had to be rescued from the local mtns as it got very sick from the heat the other day. Another dog actually died after going hiking with owners in San Diego. Being a dog owner, I know how much our pets love the outdoors, but pls leave them at home during our heat waves.

Sorry I know it isn’t a question but I wasn’t sure to post it, and I know so many people hike with their dogs in the mountains. This article really surprised and saddened me.
