Mt. San Bernardino & air quality?

Were planning on hiking Mt. San Bernardino on Thursday. With the Holcomb fire burning in Big Bear I was wondering what the air quality currently is. Anybody heard anything?

The fire is east of the peak, and the prevailing winds would blow smoke further east. Photos that I’ve seen from folks who have hiked it this past weekend indicate no issue, but that could change if the wind changes directions.

Incidentally, you can use the hike logs as a good source of beta. The date of the hike is shown at the top of the log, and you can ask the challenger questions or leave comments.
