Got this message from Sam’s son:
I want to extend my sincere gratitude for honoring my father’s passionate life he lived.
My name is David Kim and I am his first son. He loved hiking and Mt. Baldy was his favorite mountain. He will be smiling from the heaven above knowing he touched lives of so many people and forever grateful for meeting fellow hikers such as you on hiking trails.
Our family are planning his funeral for April 22 at 10 AM to be held at St. Gregory Nazianzen Church in LA (911 S. Norton Ave, LA, CA 90019).
After the burial, we will have a lunch reception remembering him and his passion for hiking. We can share photos, videos and stories about my father.
Our family would like to invite fellow hikers who knew my father and desire to attend. Please email me at ddksf@yahoo.com if anyone is planning to attend.
