JMT Entry Points

Hello, I will be applying for my permit for the JMT in January for a trip in July. I want to ensure that I have the best odds of getting a permit for the day that I would like, so I was thinking about putting down three trailheads to start. My first choice will be Happy Isles, Little Yosemite Valley as the official start - but I am totally cool with starting somewhere else and connecting - I won't feel cheated if I miss hte first few miles :) Any suggestions for choice two and three to connect?
