    Hi all! So Im born and raised in Southern Ca. I started hiking and backpacking in 2013. Last year is when I really picked up on my hiking after I found the 6 pack of peaks challenge. Happy to say that I did complete it and went to the Finishers Party. Woot woot! Everyone should go to that! You meet really great people with a common interest.

    I’ve backpacked Yosemite, Joshua tree, and Sequoia. In April, I finished the TransCatalina Trail (first thru hike). I will be hiking Whitney in July (thanks to Jae!). The dream is to thru hike the PCT. Possibly in two years when I’m all through with school. Crossing my fingers!

    Thanks for introducing yourself, Vanessa! I’d love to hear more about your backpacking in Joshua Tree–that’s one park that I *still* have not explored. Shocking, I know. 😉
