Hi Jeff,

I hiked Mt Wilson from Sierra Madre December 28, 2016. Would it be possible to count this for the 2017 Challenge? Or still have to do another trek up before 9/30/17?

Hey Dave, the challenge runs from January 1 to September 30th, but we won’t quibble with a 12/28 hike. Go ahead and log it! 🙂

I’ll just do another Mt Wilson summit soon and follow suit with my fellow 2017 Challengers…

Hey, I tried to summit Mt Baldy last Saturday on 1/14; however, the snow got so deep just beneath the ridge on the upper Baldy Bowl Trail that I had to stop.

If I had snowshoes, I would have summit. This was my 1st real snow hike as well…

Going to try to attempt sometime next week… Will post if I do successfully summit.
